Queen of Pentacles Bookkeeping

Calm, practical bookkeeping for freelancers and creative businesses.

If money admin keeps getting pushed to “next month”, it just might be time to call in some support.

If you’re self-employed, you most likely already know what your bookkeeping involves.
It’s not too complicated, but it is time-consuming, repetitive, and easy to push down the list.

I help freelancers and creative businesses take the money admin off their plate, so it gets done properly and on time without eating into your energy.

What a bookkeeper does …

Bookkeeping is the ongoing work of:

  • Recording all income and expenses

  • Getting records and receipts organised and kept up to date

  • Checking accounts regularly

  • Making sure everything is ready for self assessment if you’re a sole trader, or to hand off to your accountant if you’re a limited company.

Services:

  • Monthly Bookkeeping & Ongoing Support

(starting at £35/hour)

I keep your financial systems organised and up to date every month. That means categorising income and expenses, reconciling your bank feeds, and making sure everything is ready for filing your Self Assessment or handing over your accounts to an accountant.

For clients who want it, I can also handle invoicing and preparing monthly profit & loss statements to help you keep track of your business finances.

  • Annual Tidy-Up & Self Assessment Prep

(starting at £450)

If you’ve fallen behind or just want peace of mind come January, I’ll clean up your records and prepare everything you need for your Self Assessment tax return. I can also submit the return on your behalf if you’d like. This service is designed to make tax season calm and manageable, with no surprises or last-minute panic.

Who this is for …

  • UK-based sole traders or micro limited companies

  • Creatives, neurodivergent folks and, members of the LGBTQiA+ community

  • People who would like to have regular “money dates” but struggle to follow through

  • Anyone who wants a clearer financial picture without the overwhelm
