You've picked up the key...

...feeling its weight in your palm. You feel excited, anxious, nervous as you fit it into the lock and turn.

You hear the door unlock and it swings open in front of you.

Through the doorway, you glimpse a different life - one where you put yourself first, where you trust your intuition, where you're no longer shrinking to fit into boxes that were never meant for you.

But the path isn't clear yet. The landscape beyond the door shifts and changes, foggy in some places, blindingly bright in others. You sense that crossing this threshold means letting go of what's familiar - the rules you've followed, the roles you've played, the ways you've learned to keep yourself safe.

You stand at this threshold, caught between worlds.

Part of you is desperate for change, while another part is clinging to what's familiar.

One part wants to feel alive again, follow through on your ideas, stop people-pleasing, maybe even upend your entire life.

And yet another part just wants to stay safe with what's known and predictable.

So you end up... stuck. Frozen.

It's not your fault you're stuck.

Look, I get it. I spent years trying to be the "good girl" who followed all the rules. Always available, always helpful, always putting others first.

I bottled up my feelings, shoved anger down under the guise of "getting over it," and vented to friends instead of addressing problems in my relationships. I avoided conflict like the plague because I was terrified of being seen as difficult.

I tried so hard to be perfect that I lost sight of what I actually wanted. I'd gotten so used to tuning out my own desires that I couldn't even hear them anymore.

Sound familiar?

Here's what I know now: You're not broken and you don't need fixing. You're just caught in patterns that once protected you but are now keeping you small.

What if you could...

* Finally understand what's really keeping you stuck

* Reconnect with your authentic desires instead of living by "shoulds"

* Stop trying to squeeze yourself into boxes that were never meant for you

* Learn to trust yourself and your instincts again

* Build a relationship with yourself based on compassion rather than criticism

* Actually follow through on the things that matter to you

What if you could take your foot off that brake and feel what it's like to move forward?

The Journey

Over 4 months, we'll work together to gently unravel the patterns keeping you stuck. This isn't about forcing change through hustle and grind. It's about creating space for your authentic self to emerge.

Our work together follows the natural unfolding that happens when you start questioning the stories you've been told about who you are and what you deserve:

1. How Did I Get Here?

We'll explore the patterns and beliefs that have brought you to this moment. This isn't about blame or shame, but about understanding the clever ways you've adapted to survive. We'll notice the stories you've been telling yourself and how they've shaped your life.

2. The End (of playing small)

As awareness grows, so does desire. We'll create space for your authentic wants and needs to emerge, perhaps for the first time. This stage can feel both exciting and terrifying as you start to acknowledge what you really want, not what you think you should want.

3. Into the Woods

This is where the journey gets real. When you start making changes and setting boundaries, parts of your life might feel like they're falling apart. We'll navigate this territory together, finding your way through the uncertainty.

4. What if I Made a Mistake?

Doubt and fear often show up when we're making meaningful change. We'll work through the resistance and recommit to your journey, even when it feels hard.

5. Diving Deep

Here we get to the root of what's been holding you back. We'll have compassionate conversations with the parts of you that are afraid to change, creating internal safety for real transformation.

6. The Goo

This is the messy middle where old identities dissolve and new ones haven't fully formed. It can feel chaotic and uncertain, but it's where the magic happens. I'll be your guide through this liminal space.

7. Casting a New Mould

As we near the end of our time together, you'll start to feel more solid in your new way of being. We'll focus on embodying your authentic self and anchoring new patterns.

8. The Beginning

This isn't an ending but a new beginning. You'll leave our work together with tools for continuing your journey and a deeper trust in yourself.

If something in you is saying "yes" right now (even if another part is feeling terrified), I'd love to chat.

Hi, I’m Joeli!

I'm a feminist, queer, slightly witchy coach who helps people break free from the "good girl" trap, trust their intuition, and create lives that feel authentic and alive.

I believe that transformation happens through self-compassion, not self-criticism. That your desires matter. That you already have the answers within you. And that it's never too late to change your story.

My coaching approach is influenced by parts work, embodiment practices, and my own messy journey from perfectionism to authenticity (which I wrote about in my book, "Is It Enough Yet?").

When I'm not coaching, you can find me making zines, watching Australian Survivor, or sending snail mail to my community.

My coaching style:

  • I use reflective questioning rather than giving direct advice, helping you discover your own insights

  • I look for underlying patterns in behaviour and feelings, uncovering what's really keeping you stuck

  • I create psychological safety through validation and normalisation, making all emotions welcome

  • I use metaphors and visual frameworks to help you understand complex emotional landscapes

  • I balance cognitive insights with body awareness, recognising that wisdom resides in both

  • I emphasise self-compassion as the foundation for growth rather than self-criticism

  • I help reframe binary thinking into more nuanced perspectives, expanding what feels possible

  • I guide you to notice your patterns without judgment, creating space for genuine change

  • I focus on helping you reconnect with authentic desires rather than external expectations

My qualifications:

  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation- Associate Coach Level

  • Certified Cycle Coach with Cycle Coach School

  • Graduate of the Self-Belief Coaching Academy with Sas Petherick

  • Completed the Neuroscience of Coach Training with Coach Training EDU

  • Completed CULTIVATE, a course on trauma-informed space holding, with Katie Kurtz

  • Certified Wellness & Life Coach through Coach Training EDU

  • BSc Hons Degree in Mathematics with Education

FAQ

  • It’s super easy to use. You can send me voice or text messages whenever you need support - whether you're processing a realisation, facing a challenge, celebrating a win, or just feeling stuck. I'll respond thoughtfully within 24 hours on weekdays. This approach allows for more continuous support than weekly calls, and many clients find it easier to express themselves in the moment rather than saving everything for a scheduled session.

  • Nope. This is your space. Come in messy, quiet, emotional, chaotic — you won’t be “behind.” I’m in Voxer Mon–Fri and respond within 24hrs.

  • That’s okay. Most people don’t at first. That’s part of what we untangle together.

  • Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and understanding why you are the way you are. Coaching focuses more on where you are now and how to move forward. As your coach, I won't diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but I will help you identify patterns, set intentions, and create change in your present life. Many people find that coaching and therapy complement each other beautifully.

  • Many of my clients worry about this at first! Part of my job is creating a safe container where you can gradually become more comfortable with vulnerability. We'll move at your pace, and I'll meet you where you are. Sometimes the voice message format can actually make it easier to share things that might feel too intense face-to-face.

  • While everyone's journey is different, clients typically experience greater self-awareness, more self-compassion, clearer boundaries, and a stronger connection to their authentic desires. You'll likely find yourself making decisions with more confidence, recognizing old patterns before they take over, and feeling more at home in your own skin. The most consistent feedback I receive is that clients finally feel like they have permission to be themselves.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
